Eden Esters Brown is a doctoral student in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy at Louisiana State University. Her teaching career spans twenty years and includes private and group piano instruction in independent music studios and at the University level. She holds degrees in performance and piano pedagogy from Elon University and LSU and is an MTNA nationally certified teacher of music. Eden is an active speaker, presenting at state and national professional conferences on the music of underrepresented piano composers. Her research interests include piano education accessibility and motivating and engaging pre-college piano students through culturally inclusive studio curricula.
