Music by Black Composers flute volumes are created in partnership with the National Flute Association (NFA). They are graded by difficulty from beginner to advanced concerto-level playing, and offer students collections of music exclusively by Black composers from around the world.
In addition to making this repertoire available, our books also educate through articles and interviews. Each volume includes biographies for every composer, features on Black classical music making throughout history, and profiles of Black role models in classical music, past and present.

MBC Flute Volumes 1 is available now! A series for violin continues, and series for other string and wind instruments will follow. We also intend to publish music for brass instruments, band, orchestra, and chamber ensembles.
